thru a glass looking onion

it has been a long time since i last wrote a blog. suppose i’ve been very busy. or lazy. i think its the latter. the rain has been exceptionally heavy these few weeks. i cant really remember when was the last time it rained everyday in april.

since i am not driving these days, i have to carry umbrella along. man, i really carryng umbrella. spoils my image. told the wifey tt i dont want to be seen carrying a brolly. guess i have to swallow my pride or i’ll get drenched.

without the car, i get to enjoy our ‘world class transport system’. i had more time to think abt things while waiting for the bus or even on the bus. unless i’m sleeping on the bus. juz like the old times. but it is a chore gg up n down the bus tho’. cursing n swearing wen i missed the bus. in juz 2 weeks. on the other hand, i feel i’ve lost some weights. 2 kilos actually. amzing. but 1 thing that nvr change is tt i hate the smell of the aircon bus. it has the cockroach smell. maybe i juz have to live with it since the delivery of the car will be delayed. as expected. it is a gd thing tho. allows me to save more money.

saving $$. smthg i havent been doing in many yrs. i always tot $$ is there for me to spend. i dont see any point in having a lot of money but nvr get to enjoy it. well, each to his own.

someone told me, u can live poor but die rich or live rich but die poor.

i wld definitely choose the latter. for obvious reasons. nice as i am but i dont think i shld suffer in my life for the benefit of others when i’m gone. boy, i sound selfish.

i suppose its juz two extremes views of life. i guess most of us will be neither.
